If the App Store doesn't have something, I can go somewhere else. Visa/Mastercard fucking shit up on Steam, itch, and everywhere else is NOT my choice. Hell, even if I never use Visa/MC and just use bank → PayPal, or cash → Steam gift cards or whatever for all my purchases, why do I still lose access to products because of Visa/MC's whims?

Only because Apple was legally forced to allow this. This is a recent thing, also.
