> Since November 20, postal workers have joined the movement, ceasing deliveries of letters, spare parts, and pallets to all Tesla addresses in Sweden.

Is this normal in Sweden? Postal workers refusing to deliver mail to X to support a cause?

Is it even legal?

Never heard of it happening in my lifetime.

Is this another Musk witch hunt?

These are people's who's work and livelihoods are on the line. I don't think they care a jot about Musk. They are not going home to their families explaining their reason for striking is that they find Musk personally unappealing.

When in Rome ...

I've heard that the people striking don't even work at Tesla. They are striking on behalf of the workers.

Also that Tesla employees are being paid better than the unioned employees.

I read that other union members (dock workers, postal workers, etc) are working as per normal save for any services to Tesla which they are refusing to touch - no Tesla trade handling, no Tesla mail, etc.

I read that Tesla is accused of offering workers lower wages and inferior conditions compared to those guaranteed by a collective agreement.

IF Metall have stated they're only taking action amd being backed by other unions as Tesla has refused to discuss a collective agreement on pay and decent and safe working conditions for five years.

Unions are doing this as allowing someone like Tesla not to follow contracts, might mean that others will try as well and then entire thing collapses.

Right but if the workers themselves are content and it didn't take a union to get them there, why the hell are the unions hurting the lives of Tesla workers with this in the meantime?

It seems more like unions are bloated organizations wherever they are, and they want to maintain/increase their own power even when it is not necessarily to the benefit of workers.

No. That is not how it works in Sweden. You are doing the same mistake that Tesla is doing.

I don't understand your comment. What mistake?
