The animations are causing me distress. They're jittery as opposed to bouncy.

Which animations? I def would want to fix/tweak that

The ghost logo anchored to the top left jitters when flicking/scrolling using a mobile phone.

Otherwise it's an awesome site, the wii shop remix still puts a grin on my face

The header and footer, including the logo hide on mobile during scroll because mobile safari doesn’t send enough info to position them accurately during flicks. Are you seeing flickering on iOS or android?

Android using firefox, so I may be a serious outlier.

Ahh that makes sense, android has some known issues that I want to resolve this month so I’ll add these to the list - thanks!

The focus/blur animations are definitely jarring.

I released an update that allows you to turns off sticky card animations for new users, and after 20 cards are created, 'unlock's the feature and allows you to turn it off if you'd like.

Are you referring to focusing/blurring on a textarea/input? (Eg when clicking a card and then it’s text?)

Sorry, I think I misspoke, I meant the hover/unhover when mousing over cards, and in particular unhover.

I think they need to be more smooth in order to look natural, so I would try with some basic easeInOut or easeOut instead of the jumpy movement and then go from there. In my opinion interaction animations should be really fast, otherwise they slow down some users.

I also wonder if there is a timing issue with invoking the animations. Some of them get invoked immediately on hover and some of them seem to be delayed.

it's hard to tell whether the animations are functioning as designed for you, it's possible they're bugging out/skipping frames on your device. If you're able to email me a screencast (hi@kinopio.club, or post on the forums at club.kinopio.club) that'd be super useful for tweaking things

The banner at the top is constantly appearing/disappearing. It’s super annoying, and this is just one of the issues…

Sorry, but in its current state your website is a good example of why webapps are inferior to native ones.

Some ui issues aside one can see the great potential of web apps with their ability to be shared and used without installing. I love native apps but for solo developers this is the best alternative.

i would like to have the header/footer fixed in position but safari ios doesn't accurately send position information during swipe scrolling that would let me keep it fixed without jittering. (Because the app is designed to be pinch scrolled and maintain the header, I can't just use regular css position:fixed)

Released an update that only fades out the header/footer when pinch zooming, so it stays visible when swipe scrolling.

Also while fading during a slow pinch, it will no longer fade back in until after your fingers have left the screen.

It’s not perfect still, but much improved imo - thanks for your feedback
