I presume it needs to be pretty robust to prevent any bug creep since you have 4 projects all with paying customers. This is something I am nervous about for a small product I'm building - what if I merge a big bug?!

when you begin, if you start testing every small thing, it becomes quite easy when you finish. If you get a big bug, you can always revert.
