There is also a JavaScript engine called Hermes.


FWIW hermès has been pretty trigger happy with their lawyers in the past. They sent E3D C&D notices until they renamed their hotend/extruder combo (read: nothing at all to do with bags) to “hermera”.


I think there's been a thing called "Hermes" at every single company I've worked for, and I know of several more at other companies. Something about the name is just irresistible to people, it seems. Though it's more common for messaging services.
